13 weeks going on 14

I haven't blogged in some time because I feel more compelled to rest on the couch in the evening than do anything else. I've turned into a bit of a couch-potato. No laundry. No dishes. No vacuuming. No card-making. No blogging. No nothing.

I also enjoy the creamy and delicious taste of sour cream. I could honestly eat that stuff right out of the container. It's disgusting, but oh-so-yummy.

My pooch is growing and pictures will come soon. It's just no so "cute" yet as it looks like I've just gained weight in my midsection. Too big for my regular clothes, yet too small for materinity clothes. I'm most comfortable, well...let's just say clothes don't fit into my comfortable equation. I'd rather be bigger just so I don't look "chunky".

We bought some "baby" books that give advice on sleeping, eating, etc. I also got a cute book titled "the Belly Book" which has places for your belly pictures and areas to journal. I look forward to finding the energy to actually take pictures and pick up a pen (phew, I'm exhausted just thinking about it).

Although my symptoms are not COMPLETE exhaustion, I'm still tired. No longer sick. But my new "symptoms" include headaches (not migranes, PTL) and gas. Oh my Lord. Mike and I sit on opposite sides of the couch. Reason: His coffee smells to me and I smell to him!

Mike's last day of his 2-week module is tomorrow. He did so well last semester. He got a 4.0! I'm sure he did just as well with this most recent class. Then he's off for 2 months for the summer! WHOO HOO! And PTL, we are able to pay for his summer module out of pocket! No loans! God is good!

Mom and Dad Weston are coming to visit tomorrow. Can't wait! Love having them around! We have missed them greatly and look forward to spending some quality time with them - shopping, eating, hanging out around the house...

I'll try to be more diligent with my blogging, considering I can only really do it from work. My comp at home is still sick with a virus with no extra money on hand to have a comp doc take a look. The important things come first...like rent, food, you know? Blogging is my only out-source to the internet community of friends and family. I want you all to be updated and in tune with our lives. We miss you all!

Until next time...(hopefully sooner than later)

Love is to the heart what the summer is to the farmer's year - it brings to harvest all the loveliest flowers of the soul. -Unknown
