About Me

Hello!  My name is Michelle!!

I was born and raised in Massachusetts (GO REDSOX!).  For that reason I have an extremely unhealthy addiction to Papa Gino's pizza.  And I bet you're wondering if I talk with a Bah-stan (aka. Boston) accent??  Nope. {Well, only if you make me mad...} Surprisingly and for the most part, I was able to escape such a vice.  My step-father, on the other hand, wasn't quite as lucky...

I graduated from Framingham State College {it’s apparently a University now??} with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I was a teacher for a wonderfully fun-filled 5 years.

While teaching, I met the love of my life:  my husband, Michael. As we courted, Michael informed me that the Lord had placed a burden on his heart for New England.  Meaning?  He had a desire to plant churches.  {Wait.  What?  ME? a pastor’s wife?  ha!}  Through a particularly powerful circumstance, the Lord successfully won my heart over to the idea of serving along-side Michael, in whatever capacity that may be.  We were married in July 2005.  I praise God that our love grows deeper with each passing year!

Ultimately, the Lord lead Mike to attend seminary to get his Masters in Theology.  He is enrolled in the Master of Divinity program.  After 4 years of seminary classes, we are finally(!!) participating in our one year internship at Northridge Church in Rochester, NY.  In the meantime, we are happily {and anxiously} expecting graduation in the year 2013.

So, I am the wife of a seminary intern and the Mommy to our sweet little girl, Annaleigh {born December 2009} and our happy little man, John David {born August 2011}.  I am absolutely in love with my beautiful family of four!

I now spend my days trying to pay attention to the Lord's voice in the moments of my days as a Stay At Home Mama.  I'm doing my best to grow in Him, although I fail more often than I'm willing to admit.

I'm also a craft schizophrenic. I love to scrapbook, sew, to make homemade cards, paint, crochet, draw, to make jewelry, etc., etc.  phew! It's happily exhausting! If it can be created, I like to do it.   Let's just say, that when I walk into JoAnn's Fabrics, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or the like, I get a serious endorphin rush.

I love organizing things.  I'm always trying to discover the best "system" for, literally...everything.  But this does not mean my house is neat and tidy.  Quite the contrary....

I am known to enjoy pressing random buttons on my camera in an attempt to take better pictures manually...but I'm no photographer...yet.

Someday, as the Lord leads, we hope to return to New England in order to plant churches. I praise God for all His blessings and His constant unconditional outpouring of love upon me, but most importantly, His gift of salvation. I strive to glorify Him with my life! May it be said of me, from Him, "Well done."

Lord, do Thou turn me all into love,
and all my love into obedience,
and let my obedience be without interruption.
