tender moments

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Massachusetts.
We were mainly there to visit my Daddy while he is currently in the hospital.
To catch up as to why he's there, click here.
We were able to capture some sweet moments between Grampie and his grandbaby...

Lots of good news:
His one working kidney is doing a better-than-expected job of cleansing his system!
His blood sugar is under control.
As well as his blood pressure.
He has been moved out of the ICU and into a regular hospital bed!
His lungs are clear!
He is reading through a devotional.
His spirits are high!

A few uncertainties:
The doctors don't know when he will begin kidney dialysis.
He had a heart catheterization procedure yesterday.  Results coming soon.
He has been bleeding somewhere in his body.  They are unable to locate the source.
The doctors are attempting to figure out how to "fix" him so he stays "fixed".

***
I know he is terribly anxious to be released from the hospital.
But, it's going to be one day at time.
We are still praying for God's will.
Because He is still on the throne!
To God be the glory.
