Mark 8:9-10
And there were about 4,000 people. And He [Jesus] sent them away. And immediately He got into the boat with His disciples...
Even Christ set a limit and drew a boundary on His generosity. I am sure the crowd could have easily expected Him to do more considering the miracle they had just witnessed! I mean, who doesn't enjoy an encore?
However, just because we may believe the definition of love is always giving and always meeting someone else's needs, it is not entirely true. We can learn from Christ's example: we need to love while setting limits.
There are 2 sides to genuine love.
