A Fight with Myself

The following is only a small portion of the lesson the Lord is currently teaching me right now, but a portion non-the-less. I am currently involved in a tug-of-war between self and who I am in Christ. Although, if you were to bump into me today, I may seem put together on the outside. However, there is a torrent of emotion, logic, pride, humility, and spiritual-things currently being thrown around in my head and heart....

"As a woman, you have an enormous amount of influence in your home. You are the pivotal point. You are the catalyst for what happens there...as you weave the essence of who you are in your 'nest', your attitudes and actions will spill over to affect your husband and children. If you are frazzled, your home will appear frazzled. If you are peaceful, your home will reflect your peace. If you are happy, other family members will be too, for happiness is contagious. If you yell and scream, that too can be contagious. The strongest nest-building material available to you is Christ in you. He will weave Himself through you and about you and He will strengthen your whole family."
