the blizzard blog hop

Blizzard Bloghop 2010 hosted by Household 6 Diva

I'm joining in on the "Blizzard Blog Hop" today!  I've always wanted to be a part of something like this...so I'm grabbing at the chance right now!

I am asked to write an "introduction post"....

My name is Michelle and I've been blessed with the opportunity to be a Stay-at-Home-Mom.

I call my blog Cornucopia.  I feel the "harvest" of life can come in all shapes, colors, and sizes.  And this blog helps me to reveal stories about my faith, my marriage, my daughter, my journey, my passions and all the bits of growing, stretching, and learning in between.

My husband is Michael and we met in 2004 while teaching at the same school.  The first time we ever saw each other was in the cafeteria while I was serving milk to a group of screaming 4-year-olds.  It was love at first sight!
On our 2nd date.  Yes, we are happy-lil-goofballs!
We have been married for 5 years and have the sweetest 14-month-old daughter named, Annaleigh Grace.  She brings abundant joy to our lives!

Michael currently attends Baptist Bible Seminary in Pennsylvania.  He is doing his best to gain a degree in the Master of Divinity program with an emphasis on Pastoral Studies.  If you haven't guessed it, then, yes, our ultimate passion in life is serving the Lord Jesus Christ with our lives.  Maybe you don't know what that means?  Well, come hang out around my blog for a little while and soon it will all make sense.

The Lord has burden our hearts to, ultimately, one day plant a church in New England.  The gospel once ran rampant throughout that area, sprouting revivals.  But, now, it has many areas that are a theological ghost town.

My goal for this blog is to provide encouragement, inspiration, advice and laughter for anyone who needs a little extra of all that in their lives.  It is also a place for me to share my experiences, struggles and joys as a seminary wife.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope, in time, we can become wonderful blogging buddies!

Please come back and stay tuned.  Because I have a lot more I'd love to share with you....
