Remember; what works for one kid...Yeahhh Annaleigh! Remember; what works for one kid doesn't always work for the next. Jon trained through the "baby on the way, ur a big brother" approach with rewards and to pieces in the toilet for "target practice. Matt was like Annaleigh with "it's on my time" perspective except when we moved into our house I told them the diapers were packed away and I was having a hard time finding them. He started going from that time in (3 yrs 9 months). Taylor was just done and ready and trained at 22 months. She had seen me go so many times that she just started pulling her diaper off and sitting in her lil potty. All 3 different. As parents if we can remember to b patient with our kids while teaching them new things they'll respond better. Especially under 7. You're doing a fantastic job even though I kid about her lil accident. None of mine got out of childhood unscathed. Jon had a broken arm, stitches on his thigh, surgery on his right foot, and burned his feet walking barefoot across freshly laid tar in he next door neighbors driveway (ouch). Matt survived stitches above and below his eye, & 4 broken bones. And Taylor survived a finger slammed in the car door (miracle there) and many sprains. They survived with very little brain damage caused by me!!! Nice blog, keep writing.Audrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05854802929012501507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7586325532694196985.post-60938828630498664302013-02-12T18:33:42.596-05:002013-02-12T18:33:42.596-05:00I love that quote that you put down! It's some...I love that quote that you put down! It's something I've learned and taken to heart. And I strive so much to help other mother's see it. You're a great mother and I wish we could see each other. :) We've both grown so much. Thanks for this postAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16107415352110133366noreply@blogger.com
