Chas - I h...Thanks, everyone, for your kind words!<br /><br />Chas - I have a 20-25% chance of getting the HELLP syndrom again. But the doc doesn't think I would, but there is always a chance. And they usually do catch in bloodwork, but apparently I had contracted the HELLP syndrom and preeclamsia sometime between my last appointment and the day of my delivery. That's why the doc was shocked and thought it was a mistake. She said that it sometimes happens that way...you all of a sudden come down with it! I had an emergency C-section with my first and I really felt like I hadn't given birth. it was very surreal and a total let-down.<br />Of course, mine was not nearly as scary as yours.
